Problems installing and servicing plant and machinery here in the UK were made even worse by the pandemic. Restrictions meant that engineers just couldn’t travel to the UK.
So when we were approached by Lift, Hold & Separate (LH&S) to install machinery they’d bought from a German manufacturer, we knew we could help.
Lift, Hold & Separate have 75 years’ experience in magnetic solutions. They serve all industries but their business is niche. So, when their previous electrical contractor retired, they were in the market for a new partner to handle their long-term maintenance contracts.

Our partnership began in the pandemic when LH&S needed to install equipment manufactured in Germany. They’d traditionally used factory engineers for installations but that just wasn’t possible.
We set out to get a clear understanding of their business and their needs. We did a site visit and got to know them face-to-face. We understood the importance of their investment in this capital equipment, and the need to step in quickly if something goes wrong, both in terms of safety for their people and to protect their bottom line.
